24-hour hotline 802-775-3232

The Rutland County Women’s Network and Shelter welcomes volunteer applications. Volunteers serve as office support, in shelter services to children or women, in outreach and education to community groups, and in special event planning and fundraising.  We provide training to our volunteers, who can serve as a valuable resource for educating the community.

Anyone interested in volunteering or attending training is encouraged to contact us. First of all, please fill out a volunteer application: an application can be downloaded from this website, or you can pick one up at our offices. Once completed, please mail to PO Box 313, Rutland, VT 05702, or fax it to 747-0470. And please call 775-6788 if you have any questions, or to be put on a notification list for volunteer opportunities.

Internships are also offered to students who are interested in pursuing a career in social services. If you are interested in an internship please call the office to discuss your background and to schedule an appointment.
