The Rutland County Women’s Network and Shelter is proud to announce that Stewart’s Holiday Match has once again generously donated $2,000.00 to the Rutland County Women’s Network and Shelter.
Stewart’s customers participate in this annual event; every dollar that they contribute is matched by the company. This past season, Stewart’s contributed over $1.3 million in support of nonprofit organizations.
“The mission of the Rutland County Women’s Network and Shelter is to help protect the lives of women and children who have been the victims of abuse, and to help prevent further instances by educating the community about the issue of domestic violence and sexual assault,” said Marianne Kennedy, Executive Director, as she addressed the group. “These funds helped us directly provide services to the children of the women who come to our Shelter. It is because of financial support from the community and matching contributions like this that we continue to serve those families who seek our assistance in moving forward to a safer life.”
